ABOUT US
A preserved traditional craft
If Fleur Antique immerses us into luxury and modernity, it also brings us closer to nature and to a return to our roots. From a typical area of the Reims mountain, it is also conceived by a family from Champagne, diligent with judicious and sustainable viticulture, and a natural balance of the lands. The whole manufacturing process, passed on from generation to generation for decades, which includes the daily care of the vines and the blending of the wines in the cellar, is therefore fully mastered.
Our land
The house has some of the best vineyards, at Trépail on the slopes of the Reims mountain. The vineyard of 5 hectares is composed of 80% of Chardonnay and 20% of Pinot Noir and has been awarded the Premier cru Label, guarantee of quality. The quality of both grape varieties are sublimated by the astounding mineral richness of the terroir.
The treatment of the vine and the land
Chardonnay and Pinot noir thrive in a territory composed of chalk as well as clay and topsoil. It is in this soil with its unique mineral richness that Fleur Antique is developed according to the sustainable viticulture in Champagne certification and the high-value environmental certification. To encourage diversity in our vineyards, we plant flowers and replace insecticides as much as possible with lavender and black soap. These natural processes allow the grape to develop its full potential and its aromas.
